International Conference of India Career Development Association (ICDA)'13




      The first  International Conference of the India Career Development Association (ICDA). This year's conference was held at Manav Rachna International University in Delhi. The conference was sponsored by ICDA and SANMACS INDIA with international support from the US-based National Career Development Association (NCDA) and the Career Development Alliance (CDA).
The three day International Conference entitled "The Colours of Career Development" will
explore practical ways to approach career development and counselling through a variety of :

The innovative student researchers along with Dr. Navin Kumar to attended the International Conference of India Career Development Association (ICDA)'13 at Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad held on 27-29 Mar 2013 and presented their paper titled 'Media: Challenges and Opportunities' in Round Table Conference. The chairperson of the session for our  Round Table Conference was Dr. Rajinder Sokhi. The present paper will cover following subtopics-

Abstract:
Media is the forth pillar of our democracy and due to technical advancement it is changing everyday but its impact on public psyche and cultural is very vast. Media not only provide news but it acts as a medium of transfer of ideas and culture. Media sector in our country plays a very critical role and it provides various opportunities but at the same time faces challenges also.
